Ashok Leyland trades higher on the bourses

Ashok Leyland is currently trading at Rs. 83.85, up by 0.15 points or 0.18% from its previous closing of Rs. 83.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 84.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 84.55 and Rs. 83.65 respectively. So far 254240 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 137.00 on 12-Jul-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 77.50 on 18-Feb-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 90.55 and Rs. 82.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 24687.78 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.12%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 29.14% and 19.74% respectively.

Ashok Leyland is ready with its electric vehicle strategy even as it prepares to shift its entire model line to conform to BS-VI emission norms from April 1, 2020. The company is also in the process of launching new light commercial vehicles (LCVs) starting April next year.
