In November 2018, the total sales of major two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto on the year-on-year basis increased by 25%.
Compared to November 2017, the company’s total vehicle sales increased by 25% to 3,26,458 units from 4,06,930 units and total motorcycle sales increased by 31% to 3,46,544 units from 2,63,970 units. However, its commercial vehicle sales fell 3% to 60,386 units from 62,488 units.
On a yearly basis, Bajaj Auto’s domestic motorcycle sales increased by 45% to 2,05,259 units compared to 1,41,948 units and motorcycle exports increased by 31% to 1,41,285 units compared to 1,22,022 units.
On the other hand, the stock of Bajaj Auto at the BSE opened at Rs 2,752.00 against the previous closed level of Rs 2,736.80. Bajaj Auto shares are trading at Rs. 2,739.95 with an increase of Rs. 3.15 or 0.12%, at the turn of around 10 pm.
