Bharat Dynamics zooms on the BSE

Bharat Dynamics is currently trading at Rs. 314.00, up by 21.35 points or 7.30% from its previous closing of Rs. 292.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 293.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 316.50 and Rs. 291.05 respectively. So far 28703 shares were traded on the counter. The BSE group ‘B’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 407.50 on 15-Jun-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 224.00 on 14-Feb-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 316.50 and Rs. 281.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5661.56 crore. The promoters holding in the company stood at 87.75%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 7.53% and 4.72% respectively.

Bharat Dynamics (BDL) has signed a contract worth Rs 1187.82 crore for supply of heavyweight torpedoes. The contract has to be executed in next 42 months. Bharat Dynamics is engaged in manufacturing of Surface to Air missiles (SAMs), Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGMs), underwater weapons, launchers, countermeasures, and test equipment.
