Exports of Escorts increased tremendously to 92.8%

Compared to February 2018, the growth of tractor maker Escorts in the same period of 2019 recorded 92.8% and domestic tractor sales increased by 9.9%.

The domestic tractor sales of the company increased from 6,295 units in February 2018 to 322 units in the same month of 2019 and 6,918 units in the same period and exported 322 units compared to 167 units. In this regard, the company’s total February tractor sales increased by 12.0% to 72,40 units against 6,462 units. 

At the same time, in the current financial year (April-February), the total sales of escorts stood at 84,507 units, with an increase of 23.1% compared to 68,627 units. Of these, the domestic sales of the company increased by 22.4% and exports increased 50.5%.

On the other hand, shares of Escorts in BSE have risen to Rs 676.00 in the business till now, with an increase of 671.00 rupees, compared to the last closed price of 658.80 rupees. Nearly 12 o’clock, the shares of the company are trading at Rs. 670.50 with an increase of 11.70 rupees or 1.78%. In the last 52 weeks, the company’s highest share price of Rs 1,018.50 and lower level is 542.60 rupees.
