Jet Airways pilots continue operations, 2 more planes on land

Jet Airways, which is facing cash crisis, has stopped operating 2 more planes.

On Monday, the company informed that due to non-payment of rental of the aircraft to the lessee under the lease agreement, these Jet Airways aircraft are now standing on the ground.

For this reason, the company has to take 25 of its total 25 aircraft till February. On the same day, this figure is 40 aircraft. With these two planes, more than 20% of Jet Airways has been out of the airline.

By the end of March, experts had anticipated the operation of Jet Airways’s total of 40 aircraft, but this possibility was completed only in the first week of March.

It is reported that Jet Airways stopped operations due to absence of spare parts, after some notice from the lessee, and some for not paying some planes. At the same time, it has returned some of the aircraft tenants.

On the other hand, Jet Airways shares in the BSE are open at Rs 225.70 as compared to the previous closed level of Rs 234.65. In the business so far it has not come in green mark. At around 10.35 pm, the shares of the company are trading at Rs. 231.95 with a weakness of 2.70 rupees or 1.15%.
