Jubilant Foodworks entered the Bangladeshi market through a subsidiary company

Jubilant Foodworks has started dominoes pizza restaurant in Bangladesh.

In order to conduct Domino’s Pizza restaurant in Bangladesh, the company had entered into a Joint Venture agreement with the local Harvest Company (Golden Harvest QSR) in March 2018. Under the agreement, a joint venture called Jubilant Golden Harvest has been established, in which 49% of Jubilant Foodworks and 51% of Golden Harvest are part of it. 

After Sri Lanka, Bangladesh is the second foreign market for Jubilant Foodworks. Explain that Jubilant and its subsidiary have exclusive rights to Domino’s Pizza brand in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. 

Jubilant Foodworks has not announced any financial information related to the joint venture. As of December 2018, there are about 1,200 Domino Pizza Restaurants in the company network in 271 cities.

On the other hand, Jubilant Foodworks’s stock in the BSE rose to Rs 1,353.00 in green mark today in green mark as compared to the previous close of Rs 1,343.05 in the green mark. It is running at Rs. 1,356.60 with an increase of Rs. 13.55 or 1.01% at about 10 o’clock. The company’s market capitalization at this price is Rs 17,902.92 crore.
