Sensex down 161 points in early trade

On the first day of business week, there is a weakness in the market during the initial session.

Except IT, all the indices are in red marks today. Banks, vehicles, consumption and infra stocks are selling more. Asian markets also have negative trends in the market. Rupee flat at 70.48 rupees compared to the dollar. 

Compared to the previous closed level of the BSE Sensex 36,009.84, the Sensex, at 9.20 a.m., opened at 36,113.27, with a loss of 161.44 points or 0.45%, to 35,848.40. On the other hand, NSE’s Nifty is at 10,757.95, with a weakness of 37.00 points or 0.34%, at 10,807.00 against the previous closed level of 10,794.95. 

Today, small-medium-sized markets are being sold. BSE Mid-Cap is showing a weakness of 0.44% and BSE Smallcaps 0.19%. The Nifty Mid 100 is down 0.62% and the Nifty Small 100 is down 0.37%.

At present, 08 out of the 50 key Nifty stocks and 5 of the top 31 Sensex stocks are in strong positions.
