Tata Motors plans to export electric buses

After getting the supply contracts from 6 state transport companies at home, Tata Motors now plans to export electric buses.

There is a special look at SAARC countries for export of Tata Motors. Let us know that on Sunday, the company has supplied 40 electric buses to the Lucknow City Transport Services, which cost Rs 1 crore. 

Tata Motors has got a contract to supply a total of 255 buses in Lucknow, Jammu, Kolkata, Indore, Jaipur and Guwahati. Overall Tata Motors has achieved success in tenders for supply of 62% of the total requirement of buses in 10 cities.

Tata Motors is aggressive about the development of electric vehicles in the country over the next five years. Tata Motors, which owns 51-52% in the business vehicle sector, wants to maintain its good market share in the electric vehicle segment.

On the other hand, Tata Motors’ share of BSE has slipped to Rs. 145.80 at the lower level of Rs. 150.50, with a weak weakness compared to the previous closed level of Rs. 151.30. At around 11 o’clock, it is running at Rs. 149.05 with a 2.25 rupee or 1.49% weakness. In the last 52 weeks, the company’s share went up to Rs 382.40, while the downward slide slipped to Rs 141.90.
