Tata Power gains on the bourses

Tata Power Company is currently trading at Rs. 68.50, up by 0.55 points or 0.81% from its previous closing of Rs. 67.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 68.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 68.85 and Rs. 67.95 respectively. So far 21585 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 86.15 on 29-Oct-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 59.90 on 09-Oct-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 69.40 and Rs. 66.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 18378.94 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 33.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 51.49% and 15.45% respectively.

NTT Com- Netmagic, a leading Managed Hosting and Multi-Cloud Hybrid IT solution provider in India, has entered into a partnership with Tata Power to build its first 50 MW Solar Photovoltaic (PV) power plant in Solapur in the state of Maharashtra. This initiative enables NTT Com-Netmagic to meet green energy needs and optimize operating costs.

This solar power project is aimed at reducing CO2 emission at an average by about 70,000 tonnes per annum, with the increased power and cooling demands of NTT Com-Netmagic’s data centers in the city. The power will be supplied through open access under a long-term power purchase agreement.
